Billy Milan Jackson Billy Milan Jackson, 90, of Lewiston, MI, went home to be with the Lord on April 17, 2010. He was born on June 26, 1919 to Marvin and Piccola (Rose) Jackson in Clinton, KY. He has lived in Lewiston since 1985 from Waterford Twp, MI. Bill served his country as a Scout in the US Army during WWII. He retired from General Motors in 1972 after 30+ yrs of service. He was a member of the Lewiston 1st Baptist Church, and was very envolved there. He enjoyed raising, training, and selling AKC Beagles for hunting dogs. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to take drives on the two tracks in the northern woods. He used to enjoy snowmobiling as well. Bill is survived by his wife DonnaLee of Lewiston, MI; sons Billy Jackson Jr of Gaylord, MI; daughter, Sandra (William) Phillips of Muskegon, MI; grandchildren, Curtis (Denise) Phillips of Brighton, MI, and Chad Phillips of Muskegon; 1 great grandson; 2 great granddaughters; brother, Bob (Shirlene) Jackson of Rochester Hills, MI; and sister Helen Tucker of Madisonville, TN. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris; sister Ella; and brother, Ray. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service for Mr Jackson will be held on May 8, 20101 at 1:00 PM at the Lewiston 1st Baptist Church, Pastor Don Evilsizer officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 12:00 PM until time of service. Arrangements were entrusted to the Green Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials to the Lewiston 1st Baptist Church.
