Beverly Hope Smith Mrs. Beverly Hope Smith, 72 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully on May 15, 2017 at her daughter's home in Georgia. She was born in Rust Township, Michigan on June 4, 1944 to the late Clifton and Olive (Northrup) Jones. She married her husband, Clinton Smith, on January 2, 1966 in Atlanta. He preceded her in death in 2003. Beverly moved to Atlanta in 1995, formerly of Pontiac although she was born and raised in Rust Township. She worked as a bus driver and EMT in Atlanta from 1970-1984. She also managed apartments in Florida, Minnesota, and Michigan. Aside from work, Beverly enjoyed knitting and crocheting and would often donate things she made to the Otsego Memorial Hospital for infants. She was a member of the Eagles and was also on both bowling and pool leagues. Above everything, she enjoyed her time spent with family and will be dearly missed. She is survived by sons, Kenny (Kim) Werner of Atlanta; Cash (Cathy) Smith of Spring Hill, Florida; daughters, Gina (Bob) Ulrich of Hillman; Trudy (Scott) Wassman of Vienna; Kerrie Wilson of Georgia; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and brother, David (Donna) Jones of Hillman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Olive Jones; husband, Clinton Smith; brother, Clinton Jones; and sister, Velva Miller. As were her wishes cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial held in celebration of her life on May 31, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Green Funeral Home, Atlanta, Mrs. Marsha Marquardt officiating.
