Beverly Paul

Beverly I. Paul Mrs. Beverly I. Paul, 71, of Atlanta, MI, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. She was born on March 20, 1940 to Clarence and Mary (O'Neil) Cohoon in Detroit, MI. She spent most of her life in Atlanta and Lewiston. Beverly married Bob Paul on June 16, 1962 in Lewiston. She taught school for over thirty-five years, the first five in Atlanta, and the remainder in Mio, MI. She was an avid reader and would work Suduko puzzles for hours. She enjoyed planting flowers and gardening, and spending summers at their property in Newberry, where she got to watch the bears. She enjoyed charity auctions, and loved to bid on things at Ducks Unlimited and Elk Fest Auctions, just to name a couple. Beverly always enjoyed giving back to people, not surprisingly, she loved Christmas and the giving to family and friends that was associated with it. Beverly is survived by her husband, Bob of Atlanta, MI; son, Mike (Melissa) Paul of Atlanta, MI; grandson, Tanner; soon to be born grandson, Cullen; and a sister, Pat (Larry) Beauregard of Lewiston, MI. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held for Mrs. Paul on January 14, 2012 at 2:00 PM, at the Green Funeral Home, Atlanta, Pastor Roger Steele officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials to the charity of the donor's choice in honor of Bev.
