Beverly S. Hines Beverly S. Hines, 70, or Presque Isle, Mi and St. Augustine FL, formerly of Bloomfield Hills, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at her home in Presque Isle. Beverly was born in Detroit, MI, November 20, 1935 to the late Charles Skene and Wilma Skene who resides in Pompano Beach, FL. She attended Hillsdale College where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. Beverly married Paull Hines on November 26, 1955 in Detroit. Mrs. Hines is survived by her husband, Paull; children, Lynda (Charles) Hayes of Belmont, MI, Charlene (John) Callard of Highland, MI, Amy (Brian) Pagels of Presque Isle, MI, and Paull Hines Jr. of Daytona Beach, FL; 11 grandchildren, Charles, Andrew and Colin Hayes, Kelly, Jonathon, and Chase Callard, Carley and Alexandra Pagels, and Kurt, Brand and Taylor Hines; mother, Wilma Skene of Pompano Beach, FL; sister, Patricia (Donald) Cruse of Lighthouse Point, FL; and her aunt, Helen Hennig of Pompano Beach, FL. Beverly was preceded in death by a son, Doug Hines. Memorial services were held on July 16, 2006 at the Grand Lake Community Chapel, Renee Perkins officiating. There will also be a memorial service held in St. Augustine, FL in October. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Grand Ledge Community Chapel.
