Betty Shephard

Betty Jean Shephard Mrs. Betty Jean Shephard, 79 of Hillman, Michigan passed away at her residence on April 4, 2013. She was born to the late James and Emma (Campbell) MacKay in Flint, Michigan on June 11, 1933. She has lived in Hillman for the past 12 years, formerly of Flint. Betty's top priorities were keeping a clean house and raising her family always keeping them close and holding on to what was precious to her. In her free time, she enjoyed jigsaw puzzles. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by sons, Patrick (Lesly) Miller of Hillman; Matthew (Marcie) Miller of Kingsley; John Shephard of Hillman; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Sue (Paul) Marciszewski of Grand Blanc. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Emma MacKay; son, Timothy Miller; grandson, Micah Miller; and brothers, James MacKay; and Malcolm MacKay. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place. Internment will take place at Flint Memorial Park, Flint, MI; at a later date.
