Betty Lamoureux

Betty Jane Marie Lamoureux Mrs. Betty Jane Marie Lamoureux, 83 of Roscommon, Michigan passed away on February 16, 2014 at the University of Michigan Health Hospital in Ann Arbor. She was born to the late, Albert and Georgette (Monty) Pelletier in Detroit, Michigan on July 28, 1930. She lived in Houghton Lake for the last 40 years, formerly of Detroit. Betty Jane was a seamstress and enjoyed to sew. She liked casino trips and traveling, especially to Lake Tahoe. She enjoyed cooking and getting together with friends to play cards, her favorite being Pinnacle. Above all, she enjoyed her time spent with family and friends. She is survived by son, Mike (Judy) Lamoureux of Roscommon; daughter, Christy Anne (Jerry) Baker of Lake Tahoe, California; daughter, Janet Dixson of Livonia; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Georgette Pelletier; husband, Gerald Lamoureux; and grandchildren, Sarah and David. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned for Mrs. Lamoureux at this time. Internment will take place at Crestview Cemetery; Houghton Lake, Michigan in the Spring.
