Betty Joan Isenhauer Ms. Betty Joan Isenhauer, 72, of Atlanta, Michigan died on March 27, 2015 at Aspen Ridge in Gaylord. She was born to the late, Jay and Beaulah (Reynolds) Doty in West Branch, Michigan on December 5, 1942. Betty lived in Atlanta most of her life and attended the Big Rock Congregational Church, as well as the Community of Christ Church in Grayling. She worked for 27 years as a caregiver at Pine Park AIS Home in Atlanta and retired in June of 2013. Betty enjoyed various hobbies such as scrapbooking, shopping, and reading old western books and mysteries. Above all, she loved to spend time with her grandchildren and family and will be dearly missed. She is survived by daughters, Michelle Kent of Gaylord and Pam (Jamie) Clark of Petoskey; grandchildren, Samantha, Cortney, Kimberly, and Casey; great-grandchildren, Aden, Christian, Mason, and Cyrus; step-mom, Ann Doty of Grayling; and brother, Doyle (Jessica) Doty of Grayling. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jay and Beaulah Doty; brother, Ken Doty; and sister, Loalea Grost. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life for Ms. Isenhauer on May 9 at noon at the Community of Christ Church, 1030 Glenn Road, Grayling, MI, with a luncheon to follow.
