Betty Jane Felsner Betty Jane Felsner died on Sunday, February 5, 2012. She was born on April 19, 1928, to Elizabeth and Percy Johnson in Detroit, Michigan. Betty was the youngest of three sisters and three brothers, each preceding her in death. Betty fell in love and married Raymond Eugene Felsner on August 17, 1946. In 1955 Ray and Betty decided to move to the Hillman area because they wanted to provide a rural atmosphere for their family. She worked at Wayne Wire Cloth Products in Hillman and retired after 29 years. Betty will be remembered for being a volunteer in the Hillman community as a member of Post 2356 VFW Auxiliary and St. Augustine Catholic Church. She loved playing Bingo and watching games of her beloved Detroit Tigers and Detroit Redwings. Betty had five children, Raymond Michael Felsner, Deborah Brink (Randy), Linda Lounsbery (Richard), Harry Felsner (Linda), and Mary Allen (Steven). Her family included 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren with two on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray, two sons, Ray and Harry, and one grandson, Timothy. She will be missed by all. Services will be held on Friday, February 10, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Hillman. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Donations/Memorials may be sent in Betty's name to the Cardiac Care Unit at St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan.
