Berneita Jean Zolman Mrs. Berneita Jean Zolman, 80 of Atlanta, Michigan passed away on October 17, 2013 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. She was born to the late, William and Ella (Whaley) South on January 5, 1933. Berneita resided in Atlanta for 30 years, formerly of Flint. She worked as an LPN at the Pontiac General Hospital for many years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxilliary VFW in Davison. She enjoyed quilting, making calendars, and crafting. Above all, she enjoyed her time spent with family and friends and will be greatly missed. She is survived by daughter, Bonnie Kay Zolman-Peters-Gouin of Rexton, Michigan; sons, Bruce (Thea) Zolman of Atlanta, Michigan; Gary (Geneva) Zolman of Comer, Georgia; Gregory (Regina) Zolman of Wellsburg, West Virginia; grandchildren; Christopher and Joshua Zolman, both of Wellsburg, West Virginia; Dallas Peters, Randy Peters, Cliff Peters, Chad Peters, Chris Peters, Desera Gouin, Ruth Ann Zolman, and Judy Zolman; all of Michigan; 28 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Lucille Irelan of Davison; Flora Irelan of Metamora; Beatrice Hockey of Metamora; Helen Eagleson of Onaway; and Lilly Callan of California; brothers, William South of Wesley Chapel, Florida; Evert (Joan) South of Lapeer; and Eddy South of Louisville, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, William South and Ella South Robinson; Brother, Elvin Dale South; brother-in-laws, William H Irelan; Leonard Irelan; Jerry D Hockey; Lawrence Eagleson; and sister-in-law, Anna South. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned for Mrs. Zolman at this time.
