Basil Nichols

Mr. Basil Warren Nichols, 88 of Hillman, Michigan died suddenly at his home on the early morning of March 8, 2022. He was born on March 23, 1933 to the late, Basil Sr. and Claire (Ranger) Nichols in Hillman, Michigan where he resided most all of his life. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force while stationed in Anchorage, Alaska. He married his wife, LueVenia (White) Nichols on December 12, 2004 and together they celebrated 17 years of marriage before his passing. He adored his dog, Lancer and absolutely loved his grandchildren. Basil leaves them with countless memories and an infinite amount of love.

He is survived by his loving wife, LueVenia Nichols of Hillman; sons, Mark (Gail) Nichols of Hillman; Christopher (Laura) Nichols of Arlington, Tennessee; Shawn Nichols of Memphis, Tennessee; grandchildren, Jennifer (Nick) Fraint, Josh (Kayla), Kera, Garrett, Alexis, Blake, and Austin; great-grandchildren, Xavier, Travon, Cason, Blake, and Auston. He was preceded in death by his parents, Basil Sr and Claire Nichols; son, Paul; and an infant grandson, Jamie.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Basil privately at this time.
