Barbara Jenne Zenker Barbara Jenne Zenker, 78, of Atlanta, MI, passed away at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio on August 4th, 2009. She was born on March 1, 1931 to Earnest and Carol (Hayler) Zenker in Lansing, MI. She has lived in Atlanta since 1962, where she owned and operated Barbara's Custom Upholstery for 35+ yrs. She was a founding member of the Loud Twp Ladies Auxilliary. Barb loved crafts, scrapbooking, sewing, woodworking, and carving. She loved to fish and enjoyed her time as a cub scout leader with her son Danny. She was a great cook, she cooked for hunting camps including the Lincoln Club and Atlanta Rod and Gun for many years. Barbara is survived by her sons, Danny (Judy) Dahlgren of Dimondale, MI, and Van (Jackie) Beauregard; daughter, Katie Dahlgren of Atlanta, MI; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and sisters, Luanne (Robert) Berryhill of Atlanta, and Patty Reynolds of Durand, MI. As were her wishes, Ms Zenker has been cremated and a memorial service will take place on Friday, August 14, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Green Funeral Home, Atlanta, MI. There will be a brief visitation period from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
