Barbara Carroll

Barbara Mae Carroll Mrs. Barbara Mae Carroll, 84 of Johannesburg, Michigan passed away on January 5, 2015 at Tendercare in Gaylord. She was born on April 8, 1930 in Michigan to Mr. And Mrs. John Taylor. She married husband, Dennis Carroll in Lewiston on August 11, 1984 and together the couple celebrated 30 years of marriage before her passing. The couple lived in Johannesburg for the last 36 years and Barbara worked at the Spot Bar in Vienna for over 30 years as a bartender. She was a Regent of the Ladies Moose in Lewiston and enjoyed being outdoors, mushroom hunting, playing darts, crocheting, and her cat, "baby." Above everything, she enjoyed her time spent with family and friends and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Carroll of Johannesburg; son, John; daughter, Jo Ellen; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial held in celebration of her life at a later date.
