Azile Ferguson

Azile Ferguson Mrs. Azile Ferguson, 86 of Hillman, Michigan died peacefully on May 4, 2015 at MediLodge of Hillman. She was born to the late, Arlie and Ida (Crawford) Abbe in Onaway, Michigan on September 10, 1928. Azile worked as a cashier in Southfield for many years before returning north where she worked at Essex Wire. She spent most of her life in the Atlanta/Hillman area, although she enjoyed to travel and camp in her motor home, and even took it to Florida one year. When she was younger she liked to go snowmobiling and ride dune buggy's. Azile enjoyed the outdoors whether she was sitting around a bonfire outside with family and friends sharing stories, or traveling the United States on her motorcycle. She loved casino trips and she loved to dance, but more importantly above everything, she enjoyed her time spent with her kids and grandchildren and looked forward to their visits. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by daughter, Kathi (Brian) Edwards of Hillman; sons, Randy (Barbara) Graham of Traverse City; Dan (Pam) Graham of Magalia, California; and Maury Graham of Brighton; eight grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arlie and Ida Abbe; husband, Gerald Ferguson; sisters; Joyce Sparks, Velma Coyle-Match, Donna Paris, Mavis Cooper, Linda Mariage, Maxine Jones, and Shirley Green. Funeral services for Mrs. Ferguson will take place at 12:00PM on Friday, May 8, 2015 at Green Funeral Home; Atlanta, Michigan; Pastor Roger Steele officiating. Visitation will take place from 10:00AM until time of service. Interment will take place at the Avery Township Cemetery.
