Arnold Pyle Mr. Arnold Pyle, 70, of Atlanta, Michigan, passed away peacefully in his sleep April 14, 2018 at his home. He was born May 20, 1947 to Everett and Arletta (Schmidt) Pyle. He attended Hillman High School and was married to Barbara (Huntley) Pyle in 1966, and together they celebrated almost 52 years of marriage. They have two children. Arnold worked as a master mechanic for over 30 years and retired from Ajax Paving in 2013. He was an avid off-road dirt-bike enthusiast and hunter. He will be best be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, uncle, grandfather and friend. He is survived by loving wife Barbara (Huntley) Pyle of Atlanta; daughter, Jodi Pyle of Eastpointe; son, Robert (Brandie) Pyle of Macomb Township; grandchildren, Robert, Jack and Nicholas; sister, Annabelle (Benjamin) Carter of Saginaw, brother, Melvin (Melinda) Pyle of Hillman; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Benjamin Carter; and niece, Linda (Carter) Brandt. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 19, at 11 a.m. at Green Funeral Home, Atlanta. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service. A luncheon will follow the service.
