Anne Sietman

Anne Catherine Sietman Mrs. Anne Catherine Sietman, 58, of Lewiston, MI, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at her residence. She was born on May 5, 1954 to Arthur and Bernice (Moore) Mercure in Detroit, MI. She married Robert Sietman on January 14, 1975 in Howell, MI. Anne was a member of St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Lewiston, and also a member of the United States Bowling Congress. She has owned and operated Timbertown Lanes with her husband, Bob, for the the past 9 years. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. She was a past member of the Harness Racing Association, as at one time she raised horses for racing. When she was younger she enjoyed racing her 69 Chevelle on Woodward. She loved to go camping, especially at the Two Hearted River. Anne is survived by her husband, Robert; sons, Bob (Marge) and Aaron (Stephanie), both of Atlanta, MI, and Arthur (Stephanie) and Alex Sietman both from Lewiston, MI; daughters, Nancy (Archie) Swanner of Howell, MI, and Grace (Brian) Carroll and Melanie (Chris) Briggs, both of Lewiston; 11 grandchildren; mother, Bernice Mercure of Howell, MI; brothers, Paul Mercure of White Lake, MI, and Glenn (Penny) Mercure of Pontiac, MI; and sisters, Nancy (Terry) Baker-Kilbride of Royal Oak, MI, and Margaret (Jerry) Earls of Fowlerville, MI. She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Emily Muzio, Father Arthur Mercure, and brother, David Mercure. Mass of Christian Burial will held at 11:300AM on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church; Lewiston, Michigan; Rev. Santiago M. Hoyumpa officiating. Visitation will take place at the Green Funeral Home; Lewiston, Michigan on Monday, February 11, 2013 from 4-8 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM.
