Anna Harriger Anna Harriger, 95, of Atlanta, MI, passed away on May 30, 2010 at her residence. She was born on November 28, 1914 to Frank and Rosalia (Homotar) in Madison, IL. She has lived in Atlanta since 1957, formerly of Lewiston and Detroit, MI. She worked at Hudson's in Detroit and at the Lewiston Drug Store. She played piano at church and in a band with Ted Granholm and Bill Agren for many years. She enjoyed to crochet and was an avid reader. She loved to be "Grandy Pie" to all her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Anna is survived by her son Dick (Barbara) Scarsella of Gila, New Mexico; daughters, Joanne (Ted) Lindsay of Rochester, MI, Shirley (Gary) Blamer of Mio, MI, and Rose (Dean) Kamen of Atlanta, MI; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and a sister, Elsie Kupski of California. She was preceded in death by her husband William; great grandson, Joshua Kamen; and sisters, Mary Dubay and Rose Marrone. Funeral services for Mrs Harriger will be held on Friday, June 4, 2010 at 12:00 PM at the Green Funeral Home, Atlanta, MI, Pastor Dennis Boonstra officiating. Interment will take place at Loud Twp Cemetery. Visitation hours will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
