Angela Thoms

Angela Monika Thoms Mrs. Angela Monika Thoms, 62 of Lewiston, Michigan passed away on April 08, 2013 at Hiland Cottage Hospice House in Petoskey, Michigan. She was born on February 24, 1951 in Germany to the late Karl and Christel (Dreger) Kolster. She married husband, Gary Thoms on October 3, 1981 and together they have resided in Lewiston for the past 35 years. Angela was a director and teacher at Lewiston Co-Op Nursery for many years. She attended the Lewiston Congregational United Church of Christ and was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority as well as the Lewiston Garden Club. She volunteered at the library and enjoyed knitting, salmon fishing, traveling, and was an avid reader. She loved photography and taking pictures of everything, especially her gardens and flowers. Above all, she enjoyed her time spent with family and friends. She is survived by husband, Gary Thoms of Lewiston; son, Christopher Thoms of Barcelona, Spain; stepchildren, Jennifer Thoms of Las Vegas, Nevada; William (Robin) Thoms of Flat Rock; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; and sister, Christe Kolster-Frye of Indiana. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial held in celebration of her life 11:00AM, Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the United Congregational Church of Christ, Lewiston, MI; Pastor Ginny Titus. Visitation will take place from 10:00AM until time of service. Memorials made me made out to the donor's choice.
