Alfred Roberts

Alfred "Al" Charles Roberts Mr. Alfred "Al" Charles Roberts, 79 of Hillman, Michigan formerly of Anchorville, Michigan passed away on February 10, 2014 after a short illness. Al loved fishing, friends, football, and fires (bonfires) the latter a trait he passed on to his daughter, Sheri. He enlisted in the Army early but was a Teamster truck driver most of his working life. He is survived by daughter, Sheri (Mike) Lavens of Hillman; grandson, Steven Lavens; granddaughter, Stephanie (Randy) Hillyard of Goodells; great-granddaughters, Lexi and Laini; and brother, Raymond Roberts of Warren. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Nancy Roberts. A special thank you to all the staff and residents of MediLodge of Hillman. Your kindness and professionalism is beyond remarkable. A private memorial was held for Mr. Roberts on February 11, 2014 with a later burial at Springhill Cemetery; Fargo, Michigan.
