Albert Seguin

Albert "Skip" Joseph Seguin Mr. Albert "Skip" Joseph Seguin, 83 of Lewiston, Michigan died on April 11, 2017 at his home. He was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan on January 24, 1934 to the late, Albert and Oretha (Hawes) Seguin. Skip resided in Lewiston for the last 65 years, formerly of Roseville. He was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, as well as the Fraternal Order of Police. He served as the Montmorency County Undersheriff for many years. In the past he was a scuba diver and taught first aid through the Johannesburg Lewiston High School. Skip loved to shoot pool and play cards, especially euchre and cribbage. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed to hunt and fish. Above everything he did, he enjoyed the time he spent with his family and friends and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his children, Tim Seguin of Lewiston; Jon Seguin of Gaylord; Margaret (Bruce) Bennett of Salpulpa, Oklahoma; Richard Seguin of Herron; Albert (Lynn) Seguin of Grand Blanc; Paul Seguin of Tucson, Arizona; Amy (Bob) DeVos of Lewiston; Billie (Toby) Jordan of Garrett, Indiana; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Oretha Seguin; wife, Lou Ann; and siblings, Oretha, Richard, and Susan. In celebration of his life a graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, April 17, 2017 at the St. Francis Catholic Cemetery; Lewiston; Fr. Matthew Furgiuele officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Seguin family to help with funeral expenses.
