Agnes Ann Nihranz Mrs. Agnes Ann Nihranz, 75 of Lewiston passed away at her home on April 23, 2012. She was born on March 4, 1937 to Frank and Cecilia (Kahsin) Janish in Detroit, MI. She married Robert Nihranz on May 31, 1957 in Roseville and together they had three children. They moved to Lewiston in 1976. Agnes worked as a card puller at Lee and Cady Wholesale Grocery for three years in Ferndale and later owned and operated the Marathon gas station in Lewiston for the next seven years. From there, she owned and operated the Shell gas station for seven years and in retirement, worked as a clerk at both Forward's Shell stations in Gaylord. In her free time she enjoyed traveling and working in her garden on her flowers; her favorites being tulips and roses. Above everything, she enjoyed time spent with family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Robert Nihranz; sons, Bob Nihranz and Mark Nihranz all of Lewiston; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brothers, Frank Janish of AZ; Thomas (Sheryl) Janish of Berkley; Michael (Marie) Janish of Berkley; John (Sharlene) Janish of Royal Oak; sisters, Elizabeth Janish of Royal Oak; Dorothy (Thomas) Brzozowski of Clawson; and Margaret Winkler of Royal Oak. She was preceded in death by son, Dennis and brother, Leonard. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services for Mrs. Nihranz.
