William Thomas Salmoni
Mr. William Thomas Salmoni, 81 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully at his home surrounded by family on the morning of July 1, 2018. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 8, 1936 to the late, Robert and Louise (Scharfenberg) Salmoni. He married his wife, Jacqueline Salmoni on April 21, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan and together the couple celebrated 54 years of marriage before her passing in August of 2010. The couple moved to Atlanta in 1995 after visiting for over 60 years. William retired from the I.B.E.W. Local 58 as an industrial electrician where he worked for 40 years. He enjoyed fish and had tropical fish in tanks for most of his life along with his pond that had both goldfish and koi. His children and grandchildren were important to him and they will miss him dearly.
He is survived by his sons, Rickey (Cindy Cross) Salmoni of Taylor; Mark (Joan) Salmoni of Atlanta; daughters, Victoria (Kenneth Range) Salmoni; Denise (Bill) Allen both of Taylor; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Louise Salmoni; wife, Jackie; son, Johnny; brothers, Bob, Jim and Dave; and sister, Barbara Moceri.
As were his wishes cremation has taken place and there are currently no services scheduled for Mr. Salmoni.
